Cookie policy

Cookie
policy.

This policy explains how www.elinoraluxuryrealestate.com uses cookies and trackers, in accordance with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, the GDPR and the CNIL guidelines and recommendation on cookies and other trackers.

Last updated: August 2026

01

What is a cookie?

A cookie or tracker is a file placed on and read from your device when you visit a website, use an application or open an email. It allows the service to function, remembers preferences and, in some cases, measures audience or personalises content.

Equivalent technologies are treated as cookies: browser local storage, pixels and session identifiers.

02

Your consent

On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept all trackers, to refuse them in a single click, or to set your choices by category. Refusing is as simple as accepting.

No non-essential tracker is placed or read before your consent is obtained. Not responding to the banner counts as a refusal.

Your choice is stored for six months, after which it is requested again. You may change or withdraw it at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.

03

Strictly necessary cookies

These trackers are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act: they are essential to providing the service.

They cover storing your cookie choice, security and fraud prevention, load balancing, language preference and, where applicable, the member area authentication session.

Duration: from the session up to thirteen months maximum.

04

Audience measurement

A consent-based category, disabled by default. It would cover aggregated traffic statistics used to improve the website.

As at the date of this policy, no audience measurement tool is active on the website. Should one be introduced, it would be configured in line with CNIL recommendations and activated only after your consent, and this page would be updated accordingly.

05

Personalisation and marketing

A consent-based category, disabled by default. It would cover the personalisation of content and communications.

To date, no advertising, profiling, retargeting or social network cookie is placed by Elinora Luxury Real Estate.

06

Third-party content and services

Some links lead to third-party services (WhatsApp, Instagram, mapping). These services may place their own trackers once you have left our website, under their own policies.

No third-party content is loaded automatically within our pages without an action on your part.

07

Retention

Any trackers placed have a maximum lifetime of thirteen months, and the information collected through them is retained for a maximum of twenty-five months, in line with CNIL recommendations. These periods are not automatically extended.

08

Browser settings

You may also configure your browser to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Refusing strictly necessary cookies may impair parts of the website.

Settings are described in the help sections of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
